You know what, this last 48 hours has made me mad as hell. And I didn’t think it was possible to be more enamoured of our man Julian, but I totally am.
The guy has integrity. He may be geeky and clueless and even possibly a bit of a dick when it comes to women, but he HASN’T deleted any of his embarrassing crap from the past. OKcupid profile - still up. Asked questions, he says stuff which in many cases is kinda unhelpful - but he doesn’t go fucking erasing it or pretending he didn’t say it.
This is what really makes angry. Not standing up and taking RESPONSIBILITY for your past actions or words. If you fuck up or say or do something stupid, or change your mind, the correct thing to do is to apologise, to be HONEST, to take the punishment if punishment is due - not pretend it didn’t fucking happen.
Anna Ardin - shame on your for trying to erase the fact that you were enjoying your moment in the spotlight with Julian.
but - 10,000x worse:
Sarah Palin - SHAME ON YOU for trying to erase the fact that you were inciting people to MURDER.
I. Hate. Fucking. Cowards.
One final note. Anyone who unfollows Wikileaks on Twitter now - why? It won’t change the past. And you have NOTHING to be guilty or ashamed of. If anything, you should be encouraging everyone you know to start following @wikileaks, if they weren’t already.
